10 MONTHS OLD
I am still crawling and can stand when I hold on to something like the couch. I have also expanded my tastes and enjoy some real people food like bread and noodles and chicken and cheese too as long as it is in little pieces. I actually enjoy cherrios as well. Over the last month, I went to a car show at the fairgrounds and swam in my very own little pool. I also went in a bigger pool when we went to Las Vegas for the weekend. I also babble frequently and said my first word "DADA". Mom thinks I am trying to say Darlene while Dad thinks I am saying Dad. I just like to keep them guessing.
See you in a month! Oh yeah, I am 19 pounds now and when you call me strong boy I flex my muscles like our governor Arnold.
9 MONTHS OLD
In the last month, a bottom tooth is making its way to the surface which has been quite a nuisance. It will be my first tooth. I am eating a bit more of the jar food but am easily distracted because i would much rather be crawling around and discovering new things than eating food. I went on an overnight trip to San Diego and got to hang out with Steve and Lisa which was fun and ride on a plane. The passengers really liked me because I slept most of the way too. I am trying really hard to stand but am going to stick with crawling for awhile. I have the rest of my life to stand!
8 MONTHS OLD!!
Boy, I can do a lot more than just a few weeks ago. I can roll over and sit up and I LOVE all the toys at Omi and Opi's house. I amuse myself now for a longer period of time (at least 10 minutes) than before and guess what else??? I can MOVE!! Yes, I can actually get from one spot to another if left unattended via my legs and arms with some help from my stomach. I have also been out to the speedway on Friday nights and watched all the cars go round the track. It sure sounds familiar. I am still not that crazy about solid food but the doc says I am getting two upper front teeth..can't wait for those. Life is great. Hope to see you soon!

It's hard to believe I have reached that six month mark. This month I have enjoyed all kinds of experiences: learning to sit up on my own but not unsupervised since I easily tip to one side. I also started laughing out loud and when others laugh with me it makes me laugh even harder. I have tried some solid foods like applesauce, rice cereal and bananas but we all know what I prefer and it doesnt involve a spoon! I spend a lot more time on my tummy playing with my laptop and cell phone and of course my train.
